The Singing River Genealogy and Local History Library is located on the second floor of the Pascagoula Public Library which is located in downtown Pascagoula. The library is easily reached from U.S. Highway 90 and Interstate 10.
Welcome to our library. Begun many years ago, the department has grown extensively during the past few years into a full-fledged library. Today, the collection continues to expand through increased purchases and donations and from the support of the Jackson County Historical and Genealogical Society and its members.

Through item records and creative exhibits, patrons can experience these materials from their school or home through the world-wide access public website.

Collecting Stories of Quarantine: The Coronavirus Pandemic will be historically significant. Singing River Genealogy and Local History Library would like to preserve your thoughts and experiences about the pandemic for future research.
Record your memories and mail them to us. Creativity is welcome! We want your items in any form: essays, photos, emails, videos, audio recordings, artwork, journal entries, phone texts, and more.
You can submit materials in print or digital formats. If you choose to mail items such as flash drives or CDs, be sure to send them in appropriate packaging. NOTE: Keep a copy for your records - submissions will not be returned.
It only takes two easy steps to share your Coronavirus Pandemic memories:
